Unown [J] (Japanese: アンノーン [J] Unknown [J]) is a Psychic-type Basic Pokémon card. It is one of the Wizards Black Star Promos.

Release information
This card was available as a Wizards Black Star Promo in the VHS and DVD releases of Spell of the Unown: Entei from August 21, 2001. In Japan, it was available as an Unnumbered Promotional card and was included in Volume 8 of Pokémon Card Trainers magazine, released on September 1, 2000.
Trivia
- Unown J and R were the only Generation II Unown forms not released in a Neo Series expansion.
- The text on the bottom of the Japanese print's border reads: "Pokémon Card Official Magazine "Trainers Vol. 8" bonus card."
Origin
"Join" is the word associated with Unown J in the Unown Mode. Hidden Power is a move in the Pokémon games that Unown can learn. This card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Gold, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Silver.
